It’s been recently revealed that Kim Ha Neul and Yoo Seung Ho have been selected to play the starring roles for the upcoming thriller,”Blind“.

“Blind” revolves around a horrendous crime scene for which the only witness is visually impaired. Kim Ha Neul will be playing the role of a blind student studying to become a cop. Although she is unable to see, the rest of her senses are exceptional, which allows her to be the only character who can crack open the secrets of the crime.

Yoo Seung Ho, who has taken the leading male role, will be Kim Ha Neul’s ‘eyes’.

When asked why she chose to take “Blind” for her next acting project, Kim Ha Neul stated, “The scenario made me want to test my limits as an actress. I will transfer everything inside of me into my acting in order to live up to the anticipation of both the producers and my fans.”

Yoo Seung Ho also stated, “I fell in love with the movie for its entertainment value. I’m glad to be able to work with senior Kim Ha Neul.

Representatives from the film industry are already highly anticipative of the the movie, and some have claimed it to be a ‘jackpot’. The movie won the grand award at the “2009 Hit By Pitch” and was selected as the ‘most popular project’ due to its superior storyline. The annual “Hit By Pitch” festival screens small ’samples’ from on-going projects of that year.

“Blind” will be released in the summer of 2011.
